About Lindale

Founded in 1871, Lindale was named after Elijah Lindsey, who donated land for the town site. The arrival of the railroad in 1875 spurred growth, and Lindale became known for its fruit orchards, particularly peaches. Today, it’s a thriving small city proud of its heritage and community spirit.
